Ministries
We serve our Community in Many ways:
Prayer Ministries
We participate in a prayer Ministry with One Church, One Day, which involves constant prayers for the community, based on 10 different Categories. Area Churches partner to cover our area with prayer
24/ 7.
This summer, we are also holding Prayer Walks in different parts of the city. You may have seen us in the Friendly Street area on May 30th. If you need prayer, please let us know. We will lift up any need, no matter how small it might seem

Community Ministries
Each year, Friendly Street Church helps out at the FAN picnic, by serving Root Beer Floats to anyone who is thirsty. It's a fun way to connect with our Neighbors.
We also partner with Project Hope to provide backpacks and School supplies to young people in need, along with shoes and other things to help them get a good start to their school year.

Friendly Street Events
Each Fall, Friendly Street Church hosts a Thanksgiving Dinner, featuring a sit-down family-style meal for anyone who wishes to attend. There is no cost. All you have to do is be there, and you are welcome. If you would like to assist by volunteering or donating supplies, please contact us.
We also host a Brunch and Egg Hunt every Easter.

Live Nativity
Friendly Street Church is known for our Live Nativity. Featuring multiple scenes, live actors, and animals. It's a large-scale production we put on in mid-December each year. In 2022, we were able to partner with Springfield Church of God and other Community Members to have our first Post-Covid Live Nativity. We hope to continue this new tradition in 2023. If you are interested in joining the cast or helping out in other ways, please contact us.
We also hold a Candlelight Service on Christmas Eve. The service features special music and time for quiet reflection.

International Ministries
Friendly Street Church is also involved in International Ministries:
Living Water, International: We collect funds for Living Water, as part of our Advent celebrations. We have helped build and repair multiple wells in India and Africa. Access to clean water is such a huge need in many parts of the world. It helps us appreciate how blessed we are to live in the Pacific Northwest, where water is plentiful.
Children of Promise: We sponsor several young people, in Tanzania, helping them gain education and opportunities for a better life.
Patrick and Jamie Nachtigall: We were blessed to visit the Nachtigalls recently. They serve as missionaries in Europe. They are currently serving in Italy, and before that, they were in Ukraine. They were able to share some moving stories from believers still in Ukraine.

Future Opportunites
We are actively praying for God's guidance for our future, and we know He has many great things in store for us. We are excited to see what the future holds.
