“Imperfect Disciples”

Big Idea of the Message: Scripture shows us that the disciples struggled with their

imperfect faith long after Christ returned to heaven. However, their perseverance in the

faith developed maturity and growth that continues to impact the global church centuries

later.

Application Point: When we learn that spiritual maturity isn’t the same thing as spiritual

perfection, it frees us from the trappings of legalism and sin and encourages us to help

other believers persevere in their faith.
