Big Idea of the Message: Rather than seeing Jesus’ Triumphal Entry for what it was— a fulfillment of prophecy—many, including the religious leaders, were so concerned with keeping their own power and authority, that they missed the Messiah. 

Applicational Point: It’s possible to be close to religion, and yet still miss God.
